Gary Smith, sergeant major of 4th Marine Logistics Group, delivers a brief to the Marines and spouses of 4th MLG on the Reawakening Campaign, as part of the Commander’s Conference at the Marine Corps Support Facility, New Orleans, Sept. 6-7, 2014. The campaign focused on making sure Reserve Marines understand the importance of being Marines 24/7 not just two days out of the month. The briefs also focused on 4th MLG’s upcoming training, what is expected in the upcoming year and how family readiness and spousal involvement is imperative to the unit’s success.
