Sgt. David Castro, 401st Army Field Support Brigade Support Operations-Transportation, was selected to be the 1st Theater Sustainment Command Sustainer of the Week for the week of the Sept. 14. He received a coin and recognition today from Brig. Gen. Donnie B. Walker Jr. at 1st TSC headquarters, Bagram Air Field Sept. 9. Castro was recognized for executing 660 unit line numbers in 21 days. ULNs designate a date, time and aircraft for personnel or equipment to be moved in accordance with higher headquarters directives. Castro is a member of the U.S. Army Reserve currently deployed with the 970th Movement control Team, a U.S. Army Reserve unit from Eugene, Ore. Castro is a native of Fajarado, Puerto Rico. Shauna C. Stokes, 401st AFSB transportation planner and Lt. Col. Scott M. Reed, 401st AFSB SPO TRANS officer in charge, stand next to Castro who is holding the coin he received from Brig. Gen. Walker.
