Chief Petty Officer (CPO) Selectees aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) conducted a POW/MIA remembrance ceremony in the CPO Mess. The table setting and each item are meant to symbolically remind us of service members who were prisioners of war or missing in action. Carl Vinson and its embarked air wing, Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 17, are on deployment in the 7th Fleet area of operations supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
