Sailors assigned to USS Leyte Gulf (CG-55) look at the War of 1812 limited edition Forever Stamp display during the first-day-of-issue ceremony at Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine as a part of the celebration of the 200th anniversary of "The Star-Spangled Banner." The event celebrates the bicentennial of the Battle of Baltimore, which provided the inspiration for Francis Scott Key's famous poem, "Defence of Fort McHenry," which later became America's national anthem. Along with more than 30 ships from the U.S. and foreign nations, the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels aircraft will be on display and open to the public.
