Caskey earned his commission through the Marine Corps Platoon Leaders Class (PLC) program with an aviation option and upon completion of The Basic School (TBS), which he begins Oct. 14, he will go to flight school in Pensacola, Fla. “I wanted a challenge I felt only the Marine Corps could provide,” said Caskey. “It’s an honor to become a small part of the tradition within the Marine Corps.” Young men and women attending any accredited four-year college or university are eligible for PLC.
