The video was played at the conclusion of the Chief Petty Officer pinning ceremony held in the hangar bay of the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8). Makin Island is the flagship of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime and theater security operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
