Command and crew members of Coast Guard Cutter Jefferson Island pose for one last photograph on the forecastle of cutter Jefferson Island after its Decommissioning Ceremony, Portland, Maine, Sept. 19, 2014. Commissioned in 1991, cutter Jefferson Island was the fortieth of the 110 foot Island Class patrol cutters to join the Coast Guard fleet and will be replaced by cutter Ocracoke, also a 110 foot Island Class patrol cutter, currently homeported in Florida.
