Staff Sgt. Nisha Morris, Tech. Sgt. Jason Morris and Staff Sgt. Brian Westgate, 96th Civil Engineer Squadron explosive ordnance disposal robotics technicians, review the performance of the remotely-operated vehicles during a Sept. 9 test mission on Eglin’s range. The team, who is one-of-a-kind in the Air Force, worked in conjunction with a 96th Test Wing’s fuze program test mission to demonstrate how robotic vehicles can safely retrieve buried test items via remote connection to the computer system in the trailer (shown in the picture). It was their ninth mission with the program and they are evaluating the option of providing their services at other military ranges. (U.S. Air Force photo/Chrissy Cuttita)
