Vice Adm. Bill Gortney, commander, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, visited USNS Catawba to express his thanks to Capt. Charles Rodriguez and the crew for their hard work while supporting operations the U.S. 5th Fleet. Catawba, a U.S. Navy Fleet ocean tug, recently assisted the Motor Vessel Faina by providing fuel and fresh water following its release by Somali pirates, Feb. 5.
