Cpl. Anthony G. Strauss reports a simulated suspicious person Sept. 11 outside Camp Hansen’s main gate. Marines assigned to Camp Guard, Camp Hansen Operations, participated in a joint exercise with the Ishikawa Police Station to build communications between each other and as a show of force against terrorism. Strauss is from Geneva, Illinois, and is a ground radio repairman with 7th Communication Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF.
