Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) Ray Mabus, left, looks at memorabilia from Dec. 7, 1941, and pieces of steel from USS Arizona (BB 39) that exploded and was sunk in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, after being attacked by Japanese fighters in World War II. The memorabilia is in the USS Arizona recruit barracks at the Navy's only boot camp, Recruit Training Command (RTC), and was being shown to Mabus by Lt. Ellen McElligott, right, the barrack's ship's officer July 16. Mabus was making his first visit to RTC since being named SECNAV June 18, 2009. A coffin locker is used by recruits to stow uniforms and other clothing. It is used to get a recruit used to what he or she will have on board a ship. (U.S. Navy photo by Scott A.
