Midshipmen sit at the helmsman and planesman positions in the control room of USS Wyoming (SSBN 742), during their submarine week at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Ga, June 11. Submarine week is part of the summer Career Orientation and Training for Midshipmen (CORTRAMID) program. NROTC students will spend one week with each of the five naval warfare communities to familiarize them with the duties of a junior officer, the various missions and tasks of each community and reinforce leadership training.
