These Army green "dog tags" read "With Love from Dad or from Mom, U.S. Army, Iraq, 2009." The Dog Tags for Kids organization reports on its Web site that 420,000 of the tags have been distributed to deployed Soldiers, at no cost to the Soldiers, who then mail the tags to their children as a keepsake. New Castle, Pa., native Spc. Michael Frost, a Soldier with the 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 28th Infantry Division ordered a shipment of the dog tags to distribute to fellow Soldiers in his brigade March 18.
