U.S. Navy Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) 3rd Class Byron McKinnon, signals a MH-60S Seahawk helicopter as cargo is attached on the flight deck of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) in the Persian Gulf June 19, 2014, during a replenishment-at-sea with the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Big Horn (T-AO 198). The Mesa Verde is part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, was deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
