Rear Adm. Anthony M. Kurta, commander of Combined Joint Task Force Horn of Africa, praises and thanks U.S. Ambassador Mary C. Yates, deputy to the commander for Civil-Military Activities (DCMA) of U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM), during a ceremony commemorating Women's History Month at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti. Yates was the guest speaker for the ceremony, and she addressed several topics including the value of women in today's military. Camp Lemonnier, located in the Horn of Africa, is the only U.S. military infrastructure located in Africa. The camp supports more than 23 tenant commands and activities.
