Cpl. Joseph J. Anzack, Jr., 20, a native of Torrence, Calif., was positively identified by the Department of Defense after his body was recovered from the Euphrates River in Iraq May 23, 2007. Anzack was one of seven Soldiers from 4th Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division killed as a result of an ambush near Yusifiyah, May 12, 2007.
