Cpl. Ernesto Cruz, a field wireman with Communications Company, Headquarters Regiment, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, II Marine Expeditionary Force, runs with his company guidon during a regimental hike aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Sept. 30, 2014. The regiment performed the hike as a way to build unit cohesion, physical fitness and challenge the mental toughness of the service members. Marines ran with their guidons as a way to show unit pride and inspire their peers during hikes.
