Retired Army Maj. Gen. Bruce Lawlor, the first Joint Task Force Civil Support commander, describes the early years of the unit's establishment to current JTF-CS members during a command birthday celebration here Oct. 1, 2014. Lawlor was commander of JTF-CS from 1999- 2001. JTF-CS held the celebration to recognize accomplishments of the unit since its inception in 1999.
