An F-15 Eagle pilot from the 142nd Fighter Wing, based in Portland, Ore., flies with its air brake deployed while conducting a slow speed flyby of a Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew, from Air Station Astoria, Ore., during a joint training event held off of the coast of Oregon, Oct. 2, 2014.

The Coast Guard will routinely participate in training scenarios with the Oregon National Guard where the Coast Guard helicopter crew plays as a potential threat target that the F-15 Eagle pilots intercept and escort the potential airborne threat.
