Fayetteville, N.C. native Sgt. 1st Class Sherwood McClinton of Battery A, 1st Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, provides security near a checkpoint, March 20, in the Al Karradah District of eastern Baghdad. Paratroopers were conducting a checkpoint inspection of several Iraqi checkpoints across the region to ensure they were being run correctly and to assist their Iraqi security forces partners if needed.
