Retired Army Sgt. Daniel Jagodzinski from Fayetteville, N.C., powers up a hill during the 2014 Warrior Games' men's open bicycle 30-kilometer race, Sept. 29, at Fort Carson, Colo. Jagodzinski represents the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) team as they compete against teams from the Army, Navy/ Coastguard, and Marines from Sept. 28 to Oct, 4. The Warrior Games, founded in 2010, are designed to support healing and recovery of wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans through adaptive sports.
