U.S. Army 1st Lt. Adam Greiber, base support group, and Sgt. Maj. Joshua Paullus, operations, both of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 162nd Infantry, Oregon Army National Guard, inspect a wall around Bagh-e-Omomi Park in Paghman, Afghanistan, Oct. 2, 2014. Under the Commander's Emergency Response Program (CERP), commanders are given the ability to assist the local population with small-scale projects. The wall which surrounds the park was started in August 2014 by Combined Joint Interagency Task Force 435, and monitored by a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Local National Quality Assurance representative.
