Cpl. Matthew D. Rodriguez inspects a CH-53E Super Stallion during a routine maintenance inspection March 20, 2009, on Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan. Rodriguez was one of four Marines who removed a damaged fuel basket from an F/A-18E Super Hornet March 18, 2009. Despite having zero experience with fixed-wing aircraft, the group of Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 361 Marines, part of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force-Afghanistan's air combat element, repaired the aircraft in less than 20 minutes. Rodriguez is a CH-53E flight line mechanic with the unit.
