Sailors heave a Combat Rubber Raiding Crafts (CRRC) carrying Marines, assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), into the well deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42) during the amphibious landing exercise (PHIBLEX)15. PHIBLEX15 is an annual bilateral training exercise conducted with the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Germantown is part of the Peleliu Expeditionary Strike Group, commanded by Rear Adm.
