U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Benjamin Espinosa meets with Col. Sazzad, commander of the Bangladesh contingent of the United Nations military forces in Liberia. Espinosa is connected with the Naval Medical Research Center’s mobile laboratories in Liberia. The NMRC sent two mobile testing labs to Liberia to support Operation United Assistance. Each two-person lab is capable of testing up to 80 samples per day. The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is the lead U.S. government organization for Operation United Assistance.
