Master Sgt. Wendy Duran, 168th Medical Group medical laboratory technician, examines specimens in a chemical analyzer machine Oct. 6, 2014, at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany. The machine spins down and separates blood cells in specimens, such as blood, cerebral spinal fluid and other bodily excrement.
