Laura Woessner, an MH-60S pilot with Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 23, shores an unstable building for urban search and rescue training with the San Francisco Fire Department at Treasure Island, Calif., Oct. 10, during San Francisco Fleet Week 2014. Interoperability training enables civil-military agencies and personnel to share techniques and procedures, which also gives them the opportunity to gain understanding of the roles, responsibilities and capabilities of each agency.
