A cake waits to be cut as Sailors assigned to the Role 3 Multinational Medical Unit on Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, started their day with a ceremony celebrating the 239th birthday of the U.S. Navy in the foyer of the hospital, Oct. 13, 2014.
