    Rct. Kameronmar Dumont, Platoon 1078, Bravo Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, provides cover for his partner on a combat training course Sept. 23, 2014, on Parris Island, S.C. Recruits learned to communicate and maneuver in a simulated combat environment. The course introduces recruits to the primary mission of a Marine Corps rifle squad, which is to locate, close with and destroy an enemy by using fire and maneuver.
