Lt. Col. George H. Walter, the commander of the newly activated 6th Brigade Engineer Battalion (Airborne), 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, salutes the American Flag and his battalion’s colors during the pass and review portion of the unit’s activation ceremony Oct. 17, 2014, at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. The 6th BEB (ABN) will assume the duties of the inactivated 425th Brigade Special Troops Battalion (Airborne) for the Spartan Brigade.
