Sailors walk along Iraq's Khawr Al Amaya Oil Platform. U.S. and coalition forces guard the Khawr Al Amaya Oil Platform and the Al Basrah Oil Terminal, which account for 90 percent of Iraq's gross domestic product. U.S. and coalition forces also continue to train Iraqi personnel in force protection and search and seizure operations in an effort to turn the oil terminals over to Iraqi control.
