Lt. Gen. John F. Sattler (seated at the far end of the table), commanding general of Marine Forces Central Command, enjoys lunch while visiting with junior Marines, sailors and soldiers at the chow hall at Camp Taqaddum, Iraq, on March 1, 2006. His visit here was the final leg in a tour of bases across the Al Anbar Province that included Camp Fallujah and Al Asad Air Base. Sattler, who is also the commanding general of the I Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton, Calif., encouraged the servicemembers to call or email home as often as possible, saying the communication 'helps make you fight better.'
