Dylan Flanders, platoon sergeant, C Troop, 1st Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment oversees route coordination between Lithuanian Land Forces and Charlie Troop Soldiers prior to a react-to-ambush exercise that highlighted U.S. and Lithuanian joint maneuver capability as well as convoy communication across the lines of fire at a Lithuanian training area in Rukla, Oct. 23, 2014. These activities are part of the U.S. Army Europe-led Operation Atlantic Resolve land force assurance training taking place across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland to enhance multinational interoperability, strengthen relationships among allied militaries, contribute to regional stability and demonstrate U.S. commitment to NATO.
