The U.S. Coast Guard High Endurance Cutter USCGC Sherman (WHEC 720) deploys her ridged hull inflatable boat in preparation for an at sea transfer of cargo with the Oliver Hazard Perry-class guided-missile frigate USS Vandegrift (FFG 48). Vandegrift, on her last scheduled deployment prior to a planned decommission in March 2015, is currently on patrol within the 4th Fleet area of responsibility.
