Airman 1st Class Cathryn Sniffen, a dental technician from the 779th Dental Squadron at Joint Base Andrews and native of Midlothain, Va., prepares retired Navy Chief Hospital Corpsman John Bratham, a former dental X-ray technician himself, for a panoramic X-ray at the 579th Dental Squadron's clinic at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. Bratham received his exam as part of an initiative that provides military retirees and their dependents a free annual dental exam and the Air Force's newest dentists serving in residency opportunities for training.
