New London Mayor Tate Daniels speaks to attendees during the groundbreaking ceremony for central North Carolina's Tarheel ChalleNGe Academy. “When this school closed over four years ago, a part of the town died with it,” said Daniels. “With the opening of this academy, our town has new life and excitement for its future.”
The New London location will be NCNG's second Tarheel ChalleNGe Academy in the state.
