A Marine with Kilo Battery, 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division fills his magazines with rounds in preparation for the unit’s unknown distance course of fire aboard Fort Bragg, N.C., Oct. 17, 2014. The unknown distance range tested the Marines’ abilities to engage targets at various, unknown distances and was one of many training objectives completed by the unit during exercise Rolling Thunder at Fort Bragg. The bi-annual training operation allowed the battalion to work with several different branches of the service in an expansive training environment. (Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Jorden M.
