U.S. Marines wearing historical uniforms display a brief background history of the Marine Corps during a birthday pageant, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Nov. 5, 2014. Cherry Point Marines and civilians attended a historical pageant and cake cutting ceremony celebrating the 239th birthday of the Marine Corps. Marines participating in the pageant displayed a range of historical uniforms from continental Marines to present day.
