Marines, sailors, veterans and civilians joined together on Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., Nov. 7, 2014, during the annual Uniform Pageant and Cake Cutting Ceremony to recognize the Marine Corps’ upcoming 239th birthday. During the uniform pageant, the history and tradition of the Corps was recalled, as Marines donned uniforms that spanned the entire history of the Marine Corps from 1775 to present day.
