U.S. Army soldiers assigned to the 1st Battalion, 14th Field Artillery Regiment, 214th Fires Brigade, attach an antenna to a fire direction center during a joint training exercise at Henry Post Army Airfield Nov. 6, 2014. The fire direction center receives coordinates of a target by radio from forward observers then digitally sends the coordinates to a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System which can launch rockets up to 300 miles away from its location. The purpose of this operation is to ensure 1st Battalion HIMARS teams are trained to the highest levels possible to continually support the Global War on Terrorism.
