Eager cadets from several Louisiana parishes participate in simulated rappelling and rock climbing drills during the eighth annual Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps Field Day, in Minden, La., April 9. More than 1,000 JROTC cadets from Caddo, Desoto, Bossier and Red River Parishes, along with students from Webster Parish and the Guard's Youth Challenge Program in Minden, La., attended the event. The two-day event featured various educational and career benefits provided by the Louisiana Army National Guard.
