Senior Airman Jesse Waldron, a Grand Rapids, Mich., native who serves as a joint terminal attack controller with the Air Support Operations Squadron out of Fort Drum, N.Y., sets up his satellite communication system on the airfield of Camp Dahlke, Afghanistan, Nov. 8, 2014. He, along with a pathfinder platoon with Fox Company, 2nd Attack Helicopter Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, were staged there to be geographically closer to a coalition operation in case their recovery capabilities were needed.
