U.S. Army 1st Lt. John DePinto and 1st Lt. Adam Conkwright, both with Company B, 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, reads a list of Estonian soldiers who died in combat while serving in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. The plaque was one of the many exhibits the soldiers viewed while taking a guided tour of the Estonian War Museum, here, after spending the morning cleaning exhibits as part of a community relations mission Nov. 15, 2014 as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve. The U.S. Army Europe-led Atlantic Resolve, a multinational combined arms exercise involving the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, and host nations, takes place across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland to enhance multinational interoperability, to strengthen relationships among allied militaries, to contribute to regional stability, and to demonstrate U.S. commitment to NATO.
