On Nov. 7, U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Bret Batchelder (pictured left), the Commander, Joint Enabling Capabilities Command, commended U.S. Navy Reserve Capt. Anastasia Quanbeck (right), the interim Joint Public Affairs Support Element (JPASE) Commander, during the JPASE Change of Command Ceremony in Norfolk, Va. Over the past six-months Quanbeck led JPASE during the command's busiest times operationally with JPASE teams deployed to Operation United Assistance in response to the Ebola outbreak in Africa and also Operation Inherent Resolve in the U.S. Central Command's area of operations.
