Sailors, assigned to Nimitz class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72), participate in the parading of the colors and wreath laying ceremony to mark the beginning of Remembrance Day Ceremony. Lincoln's Sailors arrived in Gettysburg, Pa., to place flags and 1972 pennies on the gravesites of fallen soldiers at the Gettysburg Soldier's National Cemetery and to participate in the 151st anniversary of the Gettysburg Address delivered by President Abraham Lincoln here on this day in 1863. Events such as these allow Sailors to take a break from the Refueling and Complex Overhaul (RCOH) environment to reflect on the ship's namesake and the future for Lincoln. Lincoln is currently undergoing RCOH at Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Gary A. Prill/Released)
