Airman 1st Class Weston Lucus, 386th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, places aircraft flares in a protective container at an air base in Southwest Asia, April 11. Before maintenance can be started on an aircraft's fuel system, the flares must be removed to prevent possible fires. Airman Lucus is currently deployed from Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, and is originally from Harker Heights, Texas.
