The 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing leadership salute the Documented Original Tuskegee Airmen as they depart from Joint Base Balad, Iraq after a two-day visit. Four of the Original Tuskegee Airmen, the famed World War II aviation pioneers, toured JBB and met with Airmen assigned to the 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing - who are continuing the Tuskegee Airmen's legacy now. The 332nd AEW traces its military lineage back to the Tuskegee Airmen, who were part of the 332nd Fighter Group. The tour included the Air Force Theater Hospital, Airmen housing and munitions storage to name a few, with the highlight of the 332nd AEW Dining-In later in the evening.
