An MH-60R Seahawk helicopter from the Battle Cats of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 73 transports dry cargo and ammunition from the Military Sealift Command fast combat support ship USNS Rainier (T-AOE 7) to the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) during a replenishment at sea. Sterett is deployed as part of the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group supporting maritime security operations, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
