"During the Soldier's downtime, they can plug in their laptops, use the lights to read books or to go do their job," said Spc. Khalid Ammari, a carpentry and masonry specialist from Florissant, Mo., assigned to Bravo Company, 46th Engineer Battalion, 225th Engineer Brigade. "It's important for us to make the quality of life more enjoyable." Ammari and the other engineers have been living in and renovating JSS Nasir Wa Salam here since the beginning of March.
