Sailors from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1 pay homage to veterans of yesteryear, promote 29 Sailors to the next pay grade and designate two officers as Seabee Combat Warfare Specialists during a heritage and frocking ceremony, Dec. 4. Retired Chief Gunner's Mate Hugh Wingo, retired Chief Personnelman Charlie Jenkins and retired Army Sgt. Robert Royce were guest speakers for the event. NMCB 1 is home-ported in Gulfport, Miss.
